Michael is the Chief Creative Officer of Dentsu Creative in Germany, responsible for building the new agency, its capabilities and client base, creative reputation and talent.

He joined Dentsu Creative from 360i New York, where he led as Executive Creative Director the creative output for OREO, Truly (Boston Beer Company), New Orleans Tourism and 7-ELEVEn, steering some of the agency’s most iconic work, such as 'Proud Parent’ for OREO, 'Take to ELEVEn’ for 7-ELEVEn and OREO x Pokémon, the fastest selling edition of the iconic sandwich cookie of all time in the U.S.

Prior to that Michael worked at BBDO where he ran the prestigious smart car account, globally as well as the German market. Infusing the work with new energy under his creative leadership, Michael took the brand to become Germany’s most awarded brand within two years. (Source: W&V). Before joining BBDO in 2014, he oversaw the creative product for Swisscom at Heimat Berlin. With works like 'All Eyes on S4' he not only put the telecommunications provider on the creative map but also established his name in the German market.

Michael started his career as an art director at Saatchi & Saatchi in New York. Since then he has served in creative roles at Y&R New York, and BBH New York.

During his time in the U.S. he was named one of the Top 50 Young Creatives in the world by the New York Art Directors Club and his two commercials, Stuffit Deluxe “Pregnancy” and Land Rover “Pathological Liar”, where both selected to be part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
